The grandiose twin towers of Asia is the first thing that would come up in your head when KL is mentioned. This is also the first thing or the “must see” of KL. The Petronas twin towers with 88 floors is located at the KLCC vicinity. The have a skybridge that you can cross during the day. On the ground floor is a park with musical fountain. Good eats and great shopping are also found in the mall side of the tower.
You can book hotel here.
The other tall tower across Petronas that you would see lit up at night is the KL tower. At the top of this restaurant is a revolving restaurant. Come here to see the city skyline.
A great tip given by their train transit officer is to take a picture of both Petronas and City Tower afar at the Wangsu Maju at night. The train ride only cost a dollar and gave me a great photo.
With the previous two towers mention, comes great architecture of other buildings around KL. National Heritage of Malaysia includes Sultan Abdul Samad Building, the Government Office, Museum Tekstil Nagara and Restorian Warisan. The Kuala Lumpur City Library, Victorian Fountain, Wisma Ekran and City Theatre are amongst their historical building.
Last but not least, enjoy Bukit Bintang’s shopping and entertainment. This is KL’s Golden Triangle where many hotels and retaurants are located.
Thanks for spending time to publish “Kuala Lumpur”.
